Well done to WBAF family worker, Nadine Docherty, who managed to obtain some financial assistance to provide beds, carpets and domestic items for a vulnerable family of five.

WBAF have been supporting the single mother and her daughters who were victims of domestic violence. Their accommodation lacked some of the basic necessities. Three of the girls (the youngest who is 5 years old) had outgrown their beds. And it had reached the stage where they had to take turns to sleep on the floor.  So the family were overjoyed when they received the beds, and a grant to put carpets on the floors.

A big “Thank you!” to the Frank Buttle Trust, who generously awarded a grant for a bunk bed from Dreams Beds.

“…that’s better!”
