Martial arts lessons provide an excellent form of structure and discipline for young people. For many participants it’s the only structured activity they will have outside school.

Martial arts lessons also help young people to:

develop socialisation skills by meeting new friends.

The lessons are held in the evenings, twice a week, at Gateway primary school. While children spend the hour with professional instructors, their parents congregate in an adjoining classroom.
